Dear readers, MINDCHAMPS will be launching an IPO on SGX. When I read of this news, I was not surprised at all since I have noticed how this childcare education chain has been expanding rather aggressively in Singapore with many centres in Singapore now. I have already thought that then yes MindChamps will be a listed entity one day. How correct I am now.
I also draw parallels from the fact that Mr David Chiem, the founder of MindChamps, who was a former Vietnamese refugee (you can read a link about Mr Chiem here) could also one day head a listed entity like another former Vietanmese refugee, Mr Christopher Do, who is the president and CEO of IEV Holdings (you can read more about Mr Do here ), a company which is similarly listed on SGX.
